This week Oscar Kocken and I started a new project called ‘Bejaarden en Begeerte ‘or ‘Seniors and Passion’. B&B is a long term project with many different creative components all dealing with the three main aspects of Passion: Heart (love, relations, dating, falling in) Physical (lust, sex, erotism, body) and Psycological (loneliness, missing, longing, wanting, needing) And that for and about people older than 65years old.

Our thesis is simple: When it comes to passion you dont speak about it with your children or your parents but you do have to speak about it. Since the passion aspects are ageless we open up the dialogue with our grandparents. Therefore Under 35 meets above 65 in stories, interviews, a showcase, happenings and much more.

We will keep you updated as usual on a website which is now being built and that will be linked on nhelden.nl

The first fase of the project is research and making a performance supported by Het Zuidelijk Toneel, that will be played in retirement homes and all centra where the 65+ meet up.
