Bubble Boy is a performance about a boy, Tom, that has severe combined immunity defienciency (SCID) through which he has to live his whole live in a plastic bubble. After twelve years the scientists have found a cure and they invite you to witness the surgery followed by the salvation of Tom.

The performance is produced by Het Lab from Utrecht for a 10+ audience, written by Alexander Schreuder, cowritten and directed by Lucas De Man, designed by Pascal Leboucq and played by a changing cast with: Joost Dekker, Elsa May Averill, Floor Van Leeuwen, Griet Dobbelaere, Janneke Remmers, Alex, Kasper, Mieke, Suus and others.

The performance was played for the first time april 2009 in Utrecht at the Tweetact festival , then September 2009 in Gent at the Kopergietery,  January 2010 in Brussels and Utrecht and on the official tour in Holland and Belgium oktober/november 2010.
